      • “So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain

I have been writing professionally for 30-plus years — as publisher, reporter, columnist, author, freelancer, wordsmith. But I really began writing for my life’s work as a child when I, and others, recognized my love for words, well-crafted sentences and effective and beautiful communication.

Writing for me is passion and profession. It’s what I do because it’s what I am — what comes from my love for connecting people and celebrating their spirit and achievements. As a result, I publish what I'm passionate about: luxury and sustainable homes; architecture, development and construction (dad was in the business and took me up on the steelwork when I was 6); the visual and performing arts; classic, luxury and high-performance cars; food and spirits; hospitality and travel; and people.

Please e-mail me, or call, if you'd like to chat.
